Tongan fans were given the rare chance to experience football's most coveted prize - The FIFA World Cup™ Trophy – when it visited Tonga last month as part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup in Russia later this year.

Coca-Cola Amatil Pacific Head of Sales Lawrence Tikaram says: “By bringing the trophy to Tonga, we hope Tongans will get ready to experience one of the biggest sporting contest in the world and inspire young Tongans to continue striving to reach the World Cup in years to come."
The trophy was welcomed to Tonga by Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Semisi Lafu kioa sika, Minister for Internal Affairs and Sports Hon. Akosita Lavulavu, Tongan Football team captain Lotima Taufo’ou, Deputy President of the Tongan Football Associate Paula Ma’u, and former World Cup winner - French player Christian Karembeu.
