CCANZ have continued their support since coming back on board in 2010. CCANZ offered their eighth Scholarship in 2013 and have been recognised as a Gold Partner of First Foundation. “CCANZ is passionate about creating memories, happiness and possibilities. Our on-going relationship with First Foundation provides us with opportunities to do this for our staff, our students, the Foundation and the communities within which we operate. We are committed to providing our staff access to the First Foundation Mentoring programme as well as providing our students with experiences they may not normally have access to” notes Lee Bosson , Organisational Consultant-Sales and Customer Services.
Tuluvao Futi is considering studying law or teaching at The University of Auckland, after completing her final year at Mangere College, where she is currently a Prefect.
Recently Lafoai Luaitalo, our 2012 student (pictured above), had a memorable evening attending the New Zealander of the Year awards. She was seated with the Minister for Youth Affairs, Hon. Nikki Kaye and the Minister of Pacific Island Affairs and former First Foundation Trust Board member, Hon. Peseta Sam Lotu-liga. Lafoai completed her secondary education at One Tree Hill College, where she was Head Girl. This year she has started a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts conjoint at The University of Auckland.
In March Ngatokorima Tautaitini Irangi, our 2011 student, was invited to be a key note speaker at CCANZ’s Senior Leaders Forum and spoke from the heart about his happiness with First Foundation. Tau was Head Boy at Mangere College in 2012 and is in his second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) at The University of Auckland. Tau is pictured with his son creating memories and happiness and also demonstrating the possibilities.
