Did you know that personalised cans of Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero have rolled out in more than 50 countries, starting with Australia in 2011?

In 2012, New Zealand followed suit of our trans-Tasman counterparts by launching the Share a Coke campaign nationwide, starting with the personalisation of Coke bottles and cans featuring 150 of the most popular Kiwi first names. Inspiring people to connect (and re-connect) was at the heart of the campaign, and the heart of every other Share a Coke campaign rolled out across the globe.

Currently, Coca-Cola is personalizing the sharing experience by swapping out some of its iconic logos for 250 of the most popular teen and Millennial names in the United States. In addition to first names on 20-oz. bottles, Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero logos are giving way to group names like “Family” and “Friends” on 1.25- and 2-liter bottles, and 12-oz. cans feature nicknames like “BFF,” “Star,” “Bestie,” “Legend,” “Grillmaster,” “Buddy” and “Wingman.”

In the spirit of sharing, we'd like to share a few of our favourite "Share a Coke" videos from around the world:
